CONSTABLE CHARLES E. LEWIS

In Honor of Constable Charles Lewis, Sr.

August 28, 1940 – August 22, 2008

Constable Charles Lewis, Sr. was called home on August 22, 2008 after an extended illness. Constable Lewis was a dedicated officer and loved by all. He was a veteran of the Armed Forces and held a degree in Criminal Justice. He was a reserve officer with the Sequatchie County Sheriff’s Department before he was elected as Constable in the second District. He loved his job and his affiliation with the Sheriff’s Department. He was a member of the Dunlap Lodge #693 F&AM and the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 78. He was also a member of the Old Man Liars Club at the Savage Garden Market and thoroughly enjoyed the time that he spent there as well.

Constable Lewis was quick to lend a helping hand to anyone in need and is was an inspiration to us all.. We would like to extend our condolences to the family of Constable Lewis and we also know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.
